Position Overview:
As a Scaffold & Insulation Technician, you’ll have a hands-on role supporting industrial projects while helping lead crews and maintain safe, productive job sites.
You’ll work directly with insulation, coatings, scaffolding, equipment, and preventive maintenance while helping solve challenges in the field and maintain Ziegler’s high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Safety First:
  • Maintain proper safety gear and procedures at all times.
  • Help promote a safe and productive job-site environment.
  • OSHA 30 training is a plus.
Hands-On Industrial Work:
  • Perform insulation installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Assist with industrial painting, surface preparation, and coatings.
  • Support scaffolding installation and related job-site activities.
  • Perform light-to-medium equipment repairs as needed.
Quality & Inspection:
  • Use field coating inspection equipment to help ensure high-quality work.
  • Maintain quality standards throughout project execution.
  • Identify potential issues and address them before they impact the project.
Leadership & Problem-Solving:
  • Lead a crew and oversee job-site operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and project leadership.
  • Identify and address challenges quickly to keep projects moving.
  • Help ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to project standards.

What You Bring to the Table
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bilingual English & Spanish – Required.
  • Experience in surface preparation, industrial painting, and/or coatings.
  • At least a year in a scaffold building position, preferably overseeing operations.
  • Ability to lead a crew and oversee job-site operations.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of insulation materials, scaffolding installation, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to use coating inspection equipment.
  • Ability to perform light-to-medium equipment repairs.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Willingness to travel as required for projects.
